Just sharing ...So many talks about foods that cleanse the liver... and sometimes difficult to remember what cleanse what. Of course, these foods are more than just that :) Still, it is good to know and as a reminder when next you visit the fruit or vege market or even if you are thinking of planting some.
So, i think this pic will make a good checklist..

Dear flawless, thnx for the gd info.my father died of cancer of the lliver. and this brings back memories.I was his first child then.so kena la make the effort to take this into consideration, the food I mean.kena la makan bnda2 ni.i heard beetroot is so effective to cleanse .hari tu dh makan .color dia macam dragon fruit.purple sungguh.blend dgn apple hijjau and tomato.then minum..someone told me dia used to take this as precaution..takut cancer.maybe she is right.age is catching up.maybe kita kena makan bnda ni selalu kan Angie ?.manala tau.bila dah aged ni , semua penyakit senang singgah.moga2 kita terus hidup 100 tahun lagi he he.have a gd day my friend.Seronok tempat krja baru? make nw friends I suppose? tell me more.
ReplyDeleteHi dear gorgeous IM, so sad to know your dad died of liver cancer too. Looks like kita banyak persamaan. My dad died of liver cirrhosis which is like liver cancer. Dulu2 mana lah kita tau pasal makanan macam ni kan. Lagi pun hidup masa tu dah lah kurang pengetahuan, lagi serba kekurangan. Betul kata IM, sekarang bila dah umur meningkat, harus jaga pemakanan..Kalau pun tak hidup sampai 100, at least hidup sehat and will only die of natural causes kan? :D
ReplyDeleteOh ya, tempat kerja I, adoii.. tak sedar, rupa2nya, I dah almost sebulan bekerja disini. How time flies. Actually, it is a training centre for needy youths aged between 16-19. Some of them are so miskin, parents tak mampu nak sekolahkan, so some drop out of Form 3 and some form5. This institution bagi chance for them to menjadi orang berguna.. so the institute provide pelajaran dalam technical skills like automotive, English, maths dll and also bagi them Character Formation. Govt bagi grant, but memang tak cukup so the institution depend on donations from corporate bodies and also generous public individuals. At least budak2 ni tak lah merempat sini sana dan we all harap bila dah tamat training 2 tahun, akan dapat kerja yang elok dan jadi org berguna. Most of these boys are from pedalaman, sometimes kampung tu tak ada jalan raya, apa lagi kemudahan lain2. This institution is governed by a Board of Governors and run by Brothers of St Gabriel and we all lah staff. The institution is a fully residential school so we all lah jadi ibubapa they all hahaha.. Of course my peranan is more to assist in managing the institute and to assist in sourcing finance from the public and maintain the existing donors so that the institution can sustain. I am happy and there is a sense of satisfaction 'cos for once, I am doing something more for charity rather than just a job. :) At the end of the day when these boys graduate, then at least be successful in life somewhat. So far keluaran from this institute is very much sought after by prospective employers..
